Meet Sergio E. Ortiz
Since the beginning of his humble birth in Yabucoa, P.R., Sergio E. Ortiz has known the value of family and community. Married for over 28 years with three children and nine grandchildren, he values the importance of the nuclear family and strongly believes in it.
In April 1991, he set out on a journey that would change his future as he moved to Florida. With a strong passion for the works of God, he has served in ministry for over two decades in whatever capacity he has been needed.
A passionate advocate for the community in the fields of finance and real estate for the past 26 years, Sergio has had the blessing and honor of helping many families fulfill the American dream of owning a home. Through this practice he has built long-life relationships and helped many generations, having positive impacts in the community.
He strongly opposed and protested peacefully the implementation of the One Penny Tax that Osceola County tried to implement. Sergio understands the importance of keeping a vibrant, forward-moving economy so that all the people in the area benefits, whether they work for a large corporation or are small business owners.
Sergio understands the importance of an effective school system and will fight for changes desperately needed in our schools. We need to have the educational material published in America by American companies that promote American Exceptionalism as our core belief.
He believes that this nation has the capacity to excel in whatever we put our minds to do. We need to keep government as small as possible and get out of the way of entrepreneurship and innovation. The days of the great inventors have not passed, we are at the cusp of a new reawakening of that spirit of innovation that will propel this nation forward in ways that we have not imagined.
The second amendment is pivotal to ensure the protection of our rights against governmental overreach. Sergio will protect against all attacks that will try to take away our rights to bear arms. RPOs are an affront to the constitution, our freedoms and it must be defeated.
Only in America where freedom prevails, the 10th son of a carpenter from the hills of Puerto Rico can have the opportunity of becoming the next Congressman in Florida’s 9th District. We owe it to ourselves to rise above our comfort zones and forge new roads for our future generations to follow.
